Reader Operations Menu does not open

Solution

Issue: Reader Operations menu does not open

When selecting Readers -> Operations - The menu will crash or will not open. This happens because any one of the Reader DLL / OCX files would have been corrupted. Either the DLL is missing / moved / modified etc.

The reason for it could be any of of the following.

  • Moving the TimeTrack directory from one place to another.
  • Installing the software provided by original hardware (Reader) vendors.
  • If you have not done any one of  the above, then your PC may have forgotten the correct DLL and/or location. :)

Solution

Reinstall the software after taking the backup of the necessary files (TimeTrack.exe in the Binn folder) and folders (PunchFiles & Set folder).
