Punch Entry - Leave Balance edit

ISSUE

Not able to enter/modify the Leave Entry / Punch Entry / Shit Time modifications (where ever timings (HH:MM format) can be entered )

CAUSE

A file is not properly updated/registered in the computer

SOLUTION 

For 64 bit systems the system32 folder should be replaced with SYSWow64

You have to open the command prompt as administrator and then run the regsvr32 command

• Back up your current copy of MSMASK32.OCX and copy the new version to the same file location. This file should be located in the WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 directory on your C: drive (It may not be available also)
  
  
• Right click and run Register_msmask as Administrator. You should see a message saying "DllRegisterServer ... succeeded". 
   
• Check whether you are able to edit punches/leave balances.
   
• If not Right click and run AddRegKey_msmask as Administrator. 

• For 32 bit systems
• Using your mouse, click on the "Start" button and then click on "Run".
• According to your Operating System, type the appropriate command to register this library file:
• Windows 98, or Me:
• regsvr32 \windows\system\MSMASK32.OCX
• Windows NT or 2000:
• regsvr32 \WINNT\system32\MSMASK32.OCX
• Windows XP / Vista /  7  /  8  / 10
• regsvr32 \windows\system32\MSMASK32.OCX
• You should see a message saying "DllRegisterServer ... succeeded"

• For 64 bit systems
• Open the command prompt in Admin Mode and manually type the appropriate command. Be sure to replace the word system32 with  syswow64.
  
  
• If you are getting an error telling you that the file is missing, then you are not typing the command incorrectly. You will need to type it in *exactly* as shown above for your operating system.
  
  
• Please note that there is a SPACE after "regsvr32"
