Software crashes while downloading punches

Solution

The punch date shown is not correct/future date/very old date. So there are no database tables for that year and so the software crashes.

How to check if this is the reason

  1. Open the Punch.csv in notepad and check the punch dates. It may not belong to the current period. It may have punches from future dates or/and punches of last or preceding years.

Solution

  1. Please ensure that the DATE in the machine is correct.
  2. Download the punches in a PenDrive.
  3. Download the data from TimeTrack using Hardware Operations.
  4. Clear the punches from the reader.
  5. Do text file operations and read the Pen Drive punch files by selecting the appropriate from and to dates.
